Statement of faith
The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe.
We believe
-
The Bible is God's inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word.
-
There is only one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
-
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His future return to this earth in power and glory to rule forever.
-
The second coming of Christ is the blessed hope for man's eternal state.
-
Repentance and Faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ are the only means to be cleansed from sins.
-
Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation.
-
The redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross provides restoration for man by Faith.
-
According to Acts 2:4, the Holy Spirit baptism is adoption into the Body of Christ.
-
Holy Spirit sanctification empowers Christians to live a Holy life.
-
The resurrection of the saved, the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to eternal damnation.
-
God made man in His image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created, He them. God blessed them and said unto them be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, Genesis 1:26:28.
-
Because God has ordained marriage and defined it as the covenant relationship between a man, a woman, and Himself, we {the church} will only recognize marriages between a biological man and a biological woman.
-
All human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. Therefore, we must defend, protect, and value all human life. (Ps 139.)
